Alexandre Cremet

Alexandre was awarded a work experience placement at Phillip Brown’s workshop in Newbury. During the week he spent there, he worked on bridge fitting, peg bushings (boxwood), corner restoration, peg fitting, fingerboard re-shooting and varnish retouching. The experience was very valuable for him; it gave him a new set of measurements and aims for bridge fitting, workshop tips, new techniques for varnish retouching and bushings and most importantly, workshop organisation including how to deal with customers and working with a schedule.
