RAB Award 2022: For her final award, Merrit, now in her third year, received funding for violin and bass viol strings, and 3 cases. This is what she writes:
I have finally finished my viol, so here are the pictures of the strings on the viola da gamba and the cases I got with your support.
I am very grateful for your help!
The strings work beautifully on my instrument and the cases make my work more presentable and will help me move my instruments to Germany safely. Thank you very much!

RAB Trust Award 2020: Work placement (to be arranged)
Merrit, in her first year at Newark, has already shown work of high standard and requested funds to buy a good quality plane iron for an older plane which she has restored, and also funds to buy a set of closing cramps. She is a student representative on the committee of the British Violin Making Association.
