The RAB Trust awards for 2019 were decided at a Trustees meeting in March. From 24 applications, we made 15 financial awards ranging from £100 to £500, totalling £4,389.42, and arranged 10 work experience placements in workshops throughout the UK. Marios Pavlou and Jahnava Gargallo each received Special Awards:
Marios continues to impress us and has been awarded funding to attend the VSA/Oberlin Makers Workshop Oberlin, Ohio.
Jahnava’s application showed her keen interest in varnishing and was awarded funding to attend the Francois Perego workshop on ‘Preparation of Wood, Varnishing and the study of Light’ in France.
